In a dynamic era characterized by technological advancement and administrative innovation, local government units (LGUs) across the Philippines are continually striving to streamline their processes, enhance transparency, and promote ease of doing business within their respective jurisdictions. One such commendable effort in this direction is the implementation of the Electronic Business Permit and Licensing System (EBPLS) in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, under the leadership of Mayor Julier C. Resuello.

  3. Reduced Red Tape: EBPLS minimizes bureaucratic hurdles and redundant paperwork, allowing businesses to focus on their operations and growth.

  4. Revenue Generation: By simplifying compliance, the system facilitates revenue collection for the LGU, which can be reinvested in improving public services and infrastructure.

  5. Data Security: The system ensures the secure storage and management of sensitive business data, protecting the interests of both the LGU and business owners.

  6. Accessibility: EBPLS can be accessed online, making it convenient for applicants, even during non-office hours.

As the implementation of EBPLS unfolds in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, this initiative holds the potential to not only benefit local businesses but also contribute to the city's economic growth and overall development.
